A setback but this is not the end

We are really sorry to announce, after an even longer wait than we had expected, that we were unsuccessful in our funding bids to stage the St Just Ordinalia next year in 2026. We are very disappointed with this result, particularly after all the hard work that went into it and the importance we know the Ordinalia has to Cornwall.

The applications were infinitely strengthened by the match funding we raised from our crowdfunder and small funders, and all the in kind support we had - and we want everyone that contributed to know that it was not in vain. We’ve learnt that we may need to rethink and remodel what we are doing to make this possible in the current funding environment. But we will make St Just Ordinalia happen again, just not in 2026.

All the money raised through crowdfunder will still be put towards making the Ordinalia happen again in St Just. If you had a crowdfunder reward tied to tickets we will be in touch in the coming month about what this means for you.

We are taking a bit of time to regroup and work out a new way forward over the coming months. We are not going to lose heart or momentum. We will be pushing as hard as we can to do it again.
