2 Paid Internships


As part of our commitment to develop the talent and skills of our communities, we are creating 2 paid internships, each for a period of three months during the summer of this year, each with a salary of £3,000.

In order to attract a diverse group of people with a wide range of interests, we have devised 3 categories to choose from, detailed below, and when awarding the 2 internships, we will assess applicants to decide which role would best suit their skill sets and expectations.

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic persons with an aptitude for these roles, although prior experience is not essential. We will provide training and developmental opportunities that will inspire, give confidence, and help expand existing and establish new skills for a chosen career path.

Assistant Producer

An Assistant to the Producer from July through September 2021, working 26 hours per week.

You will report to the Producer and liaise with the Assistant Directors, Project Manager and the Administrator

You will track and support the Producer’s role in being responsible for the financial and managerial functions of the productions, ensuring that they run on time and to budget. You will assist with all aspects of production, including the selection and management of volunteers. You will also assist in the process of approving, finalising and implementing suppliers’ contracts. You may also be asked to give ad hoc assistance to other members of the Production team.

This role involves evening and week-end work; living close to St Just would be an advantage.


Assistant Project Manager 

A project management support role from July through September 2021, working 26 hours per week.

You will report to the Project Manager and whoever he appoints someone to manage you.



Your responsibilities will include:


1. reviewing, monitoring and updating the project plan for the 2021 Ordinalia productions
2.reconciling payments made with the cash flow forecast, and highlighting any necessary updates to the forecast;
3.attending project meetings, writing and circulating notes and action points;
4. ensuring electronic documents are correctly archived;
5. ad hoc assistance to other members of the Production team





Marketing Support Assistant

A marketing support role from July through September 2021, working 26 hours per week.

You will report to the Producer and whoever she appoints to manage you.

Your responsibilities will include:


1. reviewing, monitoring and updating the marketing plan for the 2021 Ordinalia productions
2. helping design artwork; proof reading promotional literature and publications;
3. contacting marketing and ticketing agencies, and tourist organisations, for updates;
4. ensuring electronic documents are correctly archived;
5. providing front line support for enquiries from the public and the media
6. updating the website
7. ad hoc assistance to other members of the Production team
